Sitara Village

When Koh Phangans luxury villa construction company Sitara Village (*) wanted to further promote their exclusinve development they asked me to help build a website that they could use to show off their villa designs and land.

Initially I offered up a number of designs but as they already had a Bangkok based graphic designer on board they asked them to design a website mockup that i would then code using html and css. The designer constructed some intial mockups based on their current branding and colour schemes.

I constructed a Drupal theme that echoed the design mockups and further refined the design with the introduction of navigational image hover effects and additional content items not originally envisaged.

* This site is no longer online as the actual Sitara project ran into difficulties. The domain is still functioning as it is shelved for a rebuild at some point in the future.

Drupal Association Individual Member

The Drupal Association is an organization dedicated to helping the open-source Drupal CMS project flourish.

What is Drupal?

Drupal is a free software package that allows an individual, a community of users, or an enterprise to easily publish, manage and organize a wide variety of content on a website.

Drupal is open-source software distributed under the GPL ("GNU General Public License") and is maintained and developed by a community of thousands of users and developers. Although Drupal is often described as a "content management system" (CMS), it is also a "content management framework" (CMF). In other words, unlike a typical CMS, it is geared more towards configuration and customization.
